I completed my PhD in Economics (summa cum laude) within the Structured Doctoral Program in International Business Taxation at Vienna University of Economics and Business, the University of California, Berkeley, and Saïd Business School, University of Oxford. My dissertation, "Corporate and Withholding Tax Rates in an International Setting" examines key issues in international corporate taxation and public economics.

Prior to my doctoral studies, I earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics with a minor in Business Administration from the University of Mannheim and a Master of Science in International Economics and Economic Policy (Dean's List) from Goethe University Frankfurt, where I also worked as a research assistant in public finance.

I currently serve as a Senior Government Official at the Federal Ministry of Finance in Berlin. In this capacity, I am responsible for Germany's engagement in the OECD/G20 Two-Pillar Solution addressing the tax challenges arising from the digitalisation of the economy, and I coordinate international tax policy across G7 and G20 finance processes.

My current research examines the design, implementation, and effectiveness of international tax rules in an increasingly digitalised and integrated global economy. In particular, I analyze how multilateral reforms reshape tax competition, profit allocation, and revenue distribution across jurisdictions. My work further investigates the role of tax treaties, transfer pricing, minimum taxation, and institutional coordination in promoting both efficiency and equity, as well as the long-term stability and coherence of the international tax architecture.

Earlier in my career, I gained professional experience at the Asian Development Bank, Deutsche Bank, Mercedes-Benz, PwC, and the Ministry of Finance of Bulgaria, alongside academic research positions.

My work lies at the intersection of international business taxation, global tax governance, and evidence-based policymaking. I am particularly interested in the interaction between tax systems, digitalisation, and multilateral economic institutions, and I am committed to advancing constructive international dialogue on complex fiscal challenges.
